Courtney grew up in Port Elgin with a passion for animal care. From a very young age she knew that wanted to follow anything involving animals. She focused on sciences in high school, so when it came time to applying for colleges it was an easy decision to pursue Veterinary Medicine. She graduated from Georgian College’s Veterinary Assistant course with honours, in 2015.
After graduating and during that summer, she completed some volunteer work at our clinic, to gain experience before joining another clinic, to start her Veterinary Assistant career. In September 2022 Courtney came back to join our team as a Veterinary Assistant. She looks forward to meeting and caring for all patients and clients but does have a very soft spot for bulldog breeds. She has a Bulldog mix named Ivy and a New Caledonian Gargoyle Gecko named Flick.
When not at work, Courtney enjoys quality time with her husband Luke and their family.
