Pam MacDonald Harron
Registered Veterinary Technologist
Pam is a graduate of the Veterinary Technology program at St. Lawrence College in Kingston. Prior to her returning to Bruce County where she grew up, she worked in the biomedical and pharmaceutical research fields. Pam has been part of the Port Elgin Veterinary Clinic staff since March, 2009.
Away from work,Pam spends her time with her husband, Brad and their two children, who keep them busy travelling to archery or hockey, or enjoying family time on Manitoulin Island. Pam also enjoys gardening, reading, scrapbooking, cooking and home improvements.Their furry family includes two orange cats, Morris and Cody and their newest addition, Chester an Australian Shepherd.
She enjoys all aspects of her position as an RVT at the clinic and has a special interest in anesthesia, surgery and client education. When asked "What do you like most about your job?" she answered "No day or week is the same. There is always fun, variety and challenge. I enjoy the interactions with my co-workers, the patients and their owners. It is rewarding to be a part of our clients' human-animal bond."
